Last night 1st May was the opening of the exhibition of Island artist Annie Smith in the Café. We will be displaying her work for the next two months so do pop in and enjoy her beautiful and varied pieces depicting scenes from around the Isle of Wight as well as further afield.

This little chap is a long eared owl. He fell out of his nest with the high
winds not long ago but has been nursed back to health with the help of the bird specialist James Gloyn. He is now happy back where come from, which was a tree on Norah Boswell's farm (Granny). Just next door to the Garlic Farm. Such an expressive photo just had to be shared.
The Crop
It's our largest crop of elephant yet, all hand planted and looking incredible on this beautiful morning. We're reckoning on record sized bulbs this year. Let us hope for some good rainfall in the next two months to help the crop on its way. If you have planted your own garlic this year it is essential that is gets plenty of water over the next few months if you want to be harvesting good sized bulbs in June - July. We sell our garlic through our farm shop, farmers' markets, our website and through specialist food retailers across the UK including farm shops and delicatessens.
Our garlic is not available in supermarkets.
